Tyler Sirois has been a strong supporter of our vocational technical programs in Brevard Schools, preparing many of our students for a fine future. Priorities
Promote Vocational Education
College is not the right fit for every child; not every family is prepared for the expense. Welders, plumbers, electricians, and nurses are critical jobs and remain the backbone of the American Economy. Representative Sirois won funding for Brevard students to learn about construction and welding.
Secure the Border
Government has a responsibility to keep us safe. A secure border contributes to the safety of law-abiding citizens in our communities and neighborhoods. Representative Sirois cosponsored legislation banning sanctuary cities in Florida.
Honor Our Military Veterans, and Law Enforcement
Representative Sirois will always vote to protect and serve first responders, law enforcement officers, and the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
Support Term Limits
When he voluntarily retired after two terms, President George Washington set a strong and deliberate precedent: elected office is not a permanent profession. Representative Sirois believes in the concept of a citizen legislature and supports term limits.
Defend the Second Amendment and Right of Self Defense
Representative Sirois supports and will defend the constitutional rights of law-abiding Americans to protect themselves, their family, and their property.
Pro-Life
Representative Sirois is pro-life and has co-sponsored legislation requiring parental consent for a minor to receive an abortion. He believes the rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness extend to unborn Americans.
Preserve our Natural Environment and Water Quality
Florida’s waterways—including the Indian River Lagoon—are a natural treasure that must be protected. Representative Sirois has secured funding for septic to sewer conversions for some of the most at-risk areas along the shores of the Indian River Lagoon.
Support the Commercial Aerospace Industry
A robust and competitive commercial aerospace industry will diversify Florida’s economy, provide high wage jobs for our local workforce, and provide for the security and defense of the American People. Representative Sirois passed legislation asking the President to place the headquarters of U.S. Space Command in Florida. In addition, he passed legislation streamlining the financial tools available to aerospace companies seeking to relocated to Florida.
Expand Access to Healthcare and Reduce Costs
Representative Sirois sponsored significant legislation allowing Floridians to choose to see their local pharmacist to be tested and treated for the flu, strep throat, and other minor health conditions. By introducing more competition and innovation into the healthcare marketplace, patients can receive care at lower costs.
